The Return of a Legend, Great Italian read about 201/A & 301/A

Jun 21, 2009,23:13 PM

Here below you will see and read (for those who can) the first published article about the return of legendary watches.  Throughout you will note the original planned buckle. It is interesting to know that the pre-vendome buckle as we know it was in fact developed in mid 1993 and produced on the last quarter of 1993.

Equally interesting to know that then the dimensions of those watches were considered to limit use and adaptability on wrist,  ;-)

If you cannot read, well at least you can see ;-)

Ouch that buckle looks cheap. Glad the PreV buckle was created!

Anthony, many post-vendome radiomir do come with a very similar slightly remordernised buckle... for example, 197, 198, 208 Image borrowed from 'BigB'...

According to the articles..The buckle wasn't the only thing they changed (PreV ERA)...The lugs of the mare are flat on the bottom...I wonder why the changed it to round...Still both options look great..Beautiful watches...Txs for sharing...Guillermo

Wow! Thank you, Poy

These type of publications make me appreciate my Pam 000 even more and make me feel lucky to be able to own a modern re-interpretation of a true icon. Cheers, Alex
