Panerai Pam 64, La Bomba. A C Series Watch, limited to 500 pices, released in 2000. A real bad boy with its impressive thickness. Did you know that the sapphire was 5, 1 mm thick, and that the case back only, was 3 mm thick? The Pam 64 is to the Pam 24 w...

The one still elides my collection ! Although my fav is still the 243, me thinks the 1950 case helps spread the girth of the subs. Still a La Bomba is. mUST have ! Stunning !

The 243 is not bad, indeed. Especially its case.

And, if I am not wrong, it seems that the first pièces came with a Tritium dial! Best, Flamenco. Nicolas

I was just playing with the lyrics of this song. Panerai La Bomba is a classic by all measures. Your pictures as always really bring the watch to life. This is the intro I am sure you heard it. You say "either" and I say "either" You say "neither" I say "...

Wow yours has aged beautifully

The brown patina is sexy!! I would have loved to see a PAM305 Submersible with tritium. That would have rocked IMO. Cheers, Anthony

Not mine anymore. I sold it to Patrice in 2008.

The 64c maintains a charm that none of the other Submersibles have ever had.

There is no doubt about that, and I can say so having owned several of the others (the 87 being my favorite). Looking back, how incredible would it have been if the 64 were Panerai's only 1000m Sub? Now we see that introducing the 87 with a new dial would...

Well said, Michael. If Panerai releases a wearable version of the Egiziano...

It will be my favourite Submersible. Till then, this 64 is THE Egiziano, in my heart. Best, Nicolas ...

is still a mystery for myself.. Honestly speaking, I've never seen it in metal.. But I have tried on the brother, PAM87, and I agree with you, such a bad boy... And I have to agree with you if this is the best Submersible out there Best, Sam

I would love to own one of this one day...
