Live photos from SIHH 2015. Panerai this year is focusing on the Submersible Collection, part of the Luminor Collection. The Submersible Collection is Panerai's extreme sports line of watches, which compliments its already sporty line of existing watches....

Thanks for the live report Patrick!

Quick question - are there any other Panerai models this year that aren't in the press kit? Cheers, Anthony

Nope, that's it.

On behalf of our readers at PuristSPro, I did have a private meeting with Panerai to discuss the special new pieces and to gather information for our users. And those are all the watches that were shown to me.

k thanks Patrick! [nt]

Good job Patrick, thanks for sharing these pics of the Panerai SIHH watches. The carbotech is interesting, how does it feel? Are the carbon patterns more noticeable in person? Regards, ED-209

The Carbotech Feel

 By: patrick_y : January 21st, 2015-22:19
The Carbotech (nicknamed Turbotech here at SIHH) has a very smooth feel, despite what it looks like. There is very little to no feel of the wavy pattern of the material underneath. It also has a dry and matte feeling and look as opposed to a wet polished ...

Thanks Patrick for describing the Carbotech. And cool pics of the raw bezel. Really looking forward to seeing this one in person. Personally I wish it came in a smaller case size for my tiny wrists LOL. Regards, ED-209

It's an interesting piece.

Personally, the Carbon from Audemars Piguet is more what I'm accustomed to seeing. But of course, Panerai has to do something that hasn't been done widespread in the industry, so this pattern is nice. DRMW would like it, as it resembles those Damascus Ste...

It is huge!

I used to think that a Panerai should be 47MM always. And now I realize that the 44 mm looks much better on my wrist, so now I just wear a 44mm. Wait a year or two and the Carbotech will soon be in 44mm guise. In the meanwhile, we're just going to have to...

forgot to ask..

I had a Panerai watch (one that you are very familiar with) on my wrist. Here are some pictures of the raw blanks of the Carbotech watch. I think it's unique with its wavy lines. I immediately said when I saw it, "reminds me of a damascus steel knife bla...

Any live pics of the Purdy engraved ? I myself am VERY disapointed in the SIHH offerings Nice live pics though & thank for sharing.

Read this! Fresh and hot off the press. Thanks for responding. FYI. This watch is not part of the Purdey collection and to my knowledge there were not any PURDEY watches at SIHH 2015.

Thanks, Patrick. For me, only one, this year. Mare Nostrum!

Good idea to have made it in Titanium, as the Watch is huge ( 52 mm ) and can be heavy, then. I also like the idea to know what I have Inside my Watch, hidden Under a solid case back. Now, at 52 mm, I don't have the wrist for it, sadly. Too bad! Nicolas

Look at what I do...

I put it outside of my suit... Or, you could put it on your leg! P.S. Nice shoes Amanico. MooOOoo! ...
