Hey there, The 243 was a true monster, really hard to understand couple of years ago, the case was "too thick, too high & not a real 44mm" , the crown was " not in proportion with the case", the bezel " was too wide "... Well, it wasn't the watch to g...

I guess the problem is that it went after the Bomba Pam 64, which was THE monster, the Reference Monster of the category. Nonetheless, it was an attractive reference with a nice case. But the bad boy is the 64. Best, Nicolas

...I preferred the 243 maybe because the Bomba was already the " Panerai bad boy watch, the cool Hit watch"... And the 243 was the bad*** :) ... And more than 10 years later, we still find more 243 than 64 on the market... So where is "the Nicos "243 fan ...

Well ,the early versions of the 243, which came with the Tritium dial, are quite rare!

Sadly, I had no opportunity to take pictures of the 243. I promise I will do, as soon as I can. Compared to La Bomba, I prefer the case of the 243. But I prefer the bezel of the 64. I will try to post some pictures of the Bomba, when I have access to my c...

The PAM243 dial is super clean given it's a 1000m Submersible

The PAM64 had the baton markers as well as the stick minute markers which gave it a tad "busy" look IMO. I've always liked the PAM243 dial design more because it's more clean with the circle hour markers and no minute markers. But my favorite Submersible ...

Let's put a bunch of very recent Submersibles....

I have seen too many people regretting the Pam 243. The discovery is unusual, the design is very brutal, heavy ,it's a strange feeling to wear this chunky piece of steel. Honestly I always go for "classic proportion",a 44 mm is already too much for me, an...
