It's just a regular watch with really nothing special IMO. I see no hype with this watch.

Panerai PAM 358
By: Celestial : April 2nd, 2010-21:09
Hi all, I have been recently offered a lefty submersible Panerai PAM 358. It is a special edition from some Parisian Boutique. Anybody has a picture of it? Thanks.
Shall I take it?

I mean, I am a Panerai fan but in terms of collectibility, do you think I should?
It is a Chronopassion LE, as 329 was

If you like submarine Panerai, this one in 47mm, 1950 Luminor case, titanium, black dial, without date, LEFT-HANDED is VERY VERY NICE and for you. Unfortunately, 47mm in Luminor case does not fit on my wrist, even if I wear a 47mm Radiomir. I always buy a...
I'd pass on it if you're looking at it from a collectibility aspect

Panerai will probably eventually make a model similar to that one, so later on this PAM may not be as "collectible" as you think it may be since the combination of this piece isn't anything that special IMO. That's just my 2 cents, Anthony
Collectible?

That's the worst reason to get a watch... You don't know if Panerai won't relelase it, and if you don't love it, what will you do with it? Take it only if you love it. Therefore, I don't see anything special to this watch. But this is just my opinion. Bes...
You do know you have to get it in Paris directly, right?
By: manu68 : April 3rd, 2010-09:10
I've seen a description of it, and quite frankly, the differences with the existing 47mm subs are too few to make it compelling for me. I have a couple subs so wouldn't have a good reason to add this to the collection. Not to mention the hassle of going t...

Well, now this is a totally different story...
By: amanico : April 15th, 2010-00:20
In reading some of the posters here and on other places, it appears that watch websites are being hijacked for capturing email addresses of Panerai posters. Indeed, many people worldwide are receiving unsolicited emails about this watch. If true, I find t...

By: eukaplakia : April 14th, 2010-09:56
I think it's overpriced... wait for hype to subside. For 317 something like HKD 228,000. Sorry just living in Euro zone made a mistake. It looks like lots of the PAMs have been shipped to the Orient.
