shy about speaking out for qualtiy issues or any issues for that matter, even for brands that I so love. A lot of my friends know about this.
To put things into perspectives:
There's no doubt that OP has taken a route to elevate themselves by introducing all these in house movements/complications/innovative materials. Granted that they start off as a brand making Unita movement based pieces it's inevitable that they will run into technical issues. Now would I rather have them continue churning out simple time only watches based on Unita AND having no quality issues or would I prefer to see them living the life of "Laboratories of ideas", experimenting in different directions while perhaps making a few mistakes here or there? I would prefer the later.
I can imagine their repair ratio would have shot up since theirs days of 90%+ unita movements and it's their job to strike that fine balance of keeping the quality in check while coming out w/ interesting products.
With that said, I have no problem w/ people discussing problems of their watches here.
BUT I don't think we want to see this board filled with all these posts about someone hearing friend of their friend's brother/sister/grandpa having problem on their panerai hence coming to a conclusion that OP is no good right?
Now who's got some good statistics to show us???
Disclaimer: No financial interest in this brands aside from the fact that I like their products, although I admit I have been contemplating buying Richemont's stocks!!!
