Hi Antony
Some very good points there.
The current spec and part numbers provided by Panerai direct last week are for a OP6767 40 mm Luminor Power Reserve:
PAV00678 RRP £1,000 New metal bracelet brushed steel with polished surface between links.
PAV00679 RRP £1,600 - Brushed steel braclet, with 'C' shape links.
PAV00664 RRP £1,600 - Brushed steel=polished steel bracket, with 'C' shape links
I thought there was a further optionbut no. So my error. Of your pics the one on the left has the'C' shape links with I like best.
My 40 mm watch has the necessary rounded part at the lug.
I agree keep to the various and many options of straps other than steel. It will be cheaper too and you can swop around.
TIMING
I am sending my new watch to the London Service Centre on Monday. Timing is rubbish. The Centre say -5/+7 is the spec.
I am showing +16, +11, +7.76, +9.09, +12.56, +10.67. Each over 24 hour periods with various positions.
The COSC Certificate is most confusing. Why different figures for Cat 1.(-4/+6) and Cat 2 (-5/+8). Surely just one Cat applies. Any ideas please.
Very difficult to understand the letter codes and figures so we should get a manual? I am going to write to COSC H.Q. I can be a pain!!!
Best. John
