scratches

Hi,

I also have a 26K which I have worn for over a year. I find that the bezel gets small marks/scratches next to the glass which I guess can not be avoided. I have also dropped mine once on concrete floor and scratched/dented the case. Apart from this one unfortunate accident, the case would still be perfect. I can deal with the small marks on the bezel but would also like to sort out the case.
Did you have any luck speaking to anyone at Panerai? Would appreciate hearing what they say.

Anyway, still love the watch, scratches and all, not the end of the watch, but appreciate your situation.

Im sorry for what happened to your pam26. Im sure its really bothering to see the scratched pvd case. But i would suggest you to just leave it as it is. Re-pvd the case is a solution, but from what i heard the finish wont be the same as the original pvd. ...

thanks. but i really want to fix it

I would suggest not re-PVD'ing your Panerai. Panerai doesn't re-PVD so you'll have to buy a new case if you send your PAM26 to Panerai. You'll probably end up scratching it again later in the future, so why not just leave it the way it is? If you send to ...

Thanks for the input

thanks Anthony, I have contacted richemont singapore, they said they can replace the crown guard and case. So i will replace the crown guard first. Thanks

Leave it as is, the watch has history and this is character

Re doing the PVD will actually make you worst off depending on the after market craftsman. Oftentimes, you are worst off. You can re PVD it today and then you will bound to scratch it again unless you put it in a glass sealed box taking pix on it all day....

Solution?

Hi my friend. Really sorry for your PAM026. At this time, i suppose the only solution for you is to call Panerai and to speak about that. They are able to change some pvd parts of the watch. I know one guy in France who had the same problem few weeks ago....

Well, Panerai will sell you a new case, but

I'm with the rest of the group here. Just wear the watch and enjoy it. If anything will make it less of a problem when you inevitably scratch it again.

Can the bezel be replace or its the whole case?

I contacted Richemont Singapore, they said they can replace the bezel and the crown. However I have question, isnt the bezel attach to the case? Thanks Adi
