Sleeping beauty...

The 25A is, IMO, one of the most underrated PAM's.

Developed by Pre-V Panerai, if I'm correct, the modern 'Egiziano'. The titanium helps to give at nicely grey, not to shiny, historic look.

The 'hobnail' Clous de Paris dial gives it a certain depth and color. The way the indices and marks are applied is very nice to look at. White background with applied 'sausage' painted Tritium. Looks absolutely stunning. The A,B,C, series are the best with 5 minute clicking intervals and no hashmarks on the bezel. The A is the one to go for, well...just because it's A-series, with the nice A-box.

And I totally agree with what he said. I may add something... Between the 24 and the 25, I rather prefer the 24, because of its smooth dial...The Clous de Paris dial is very nice, but after a moment you can get rid of it. And the smooth dial is as aslways...

I'm with you Nicolas..

The 24, especially A-C series look real nice with polished-smooth bezel. Cheers

Nice choice, my friend

unlike the other posters, I prefer it over the 24 because of the Clous de Paris (or Hobnail, as they call it) dial and the graduations around the dial. These things make the watch more interesting from my point of view. To each his own! It's a great watch...

Wonderful pic Mel

Here's a scan of my sub crazy days: The brushed finish, the light weight, the clean dial, where do I stop?...
