With the re-edition of the PAM29 at SIHH 2010, which PAM do you think will be next?

 By: AnthonyTsai : January 24th, 2010-09:21
Panerai reissued the: - PAM29 Luminor GMT w/ central seconds hand & tuxedo dial at SIHH 2010 - PAM28 PVD Power Reserve w/ Soprod movement at SIHH 2009 - PAM26 PVD Destro at SIHH 2008 Do you think Panerai will reissue another past model at SIHH 2011? If so...

Agree! would like to see PAM 4 again! [nt]

I thought the PAM195

was sort of a 'remake' of PAM004? If I have to guess? PAM009!!!

What about NOT?

I think that reeditions of watches from the vendome ERA have no added value...They have allready been launched, SOLD and discontinued...Doesn't rock my boat at all...lack of inspiration maybe??? Guillermo

PAM9 next pleeeease :-)

Reneo

That should be as likely as the PAM4

Seems like Panerai likes to re-issue the past PVD models. So once they run out of PAM's to re-issue, I wonder which PAMs they will pick for future re-issues. Cheers, Anthony

Anthorny, the ultimate PAM 21? [nt]

Where is the laboratory of ideas? Post-Vendome watches have only 12 years of existence, why this need to already pumping from it…? The early customers purchased serialized /numbered pieces, why destabilizing the 'values' of their wears? Whereas it is to m...

I prefer this re editions to keep OORs coming out

 By: nacho m : January 28th, 2010-03:26
I think Panerai keeps the value of the original versions, making the new one slightly different. I see your point, but I think old 26, 28, 29 keep their value againts the new versions for many reasons. On the other hand...keeping OORs is worst in my opini...

I hope Panerai won't release ANY other Réédition of Vendome Watches, Anthony.

 By: amanico : January 27th, 2010-04:04
I really hope so... What would you say if you see another 500 pieces of your Pam 21? What the owners of a Pam 203 would say if Panerai makes 500 moore ( sorry for he bad pun ) ? BUT it would be totally different if Panerai: 1/ Decides to reedit some Vinta...

It is not only about what one person or the other may say or feel

It is not only about what one person or the other may say or feel, it is about trust and respect, as well leaving some space for dreams. Yup, I agree the likes of PAM 339 is what it should be all about, a perfect addition to the brand DNA My 2 cents for t...

I agree with what both you and Nicolas have expressed above

My posting of this thread is not on the basis that I support Panerai for making these re-editions. I actually don't like these re-editions that much and I don't know why they started reintroducing them in the 1st place, but since they are, I thought this ...

Nasty you ;-)

I'm glad we are able to have civil discussions here and that is what I our forums. There's no right or wrong answer to the question in topic. There are positives on each side and drawbacks on the other. It's which side you want to pick or view things from...

Bravo !! Master Yves" As alway...rich in Knowledge "

I feel so fortunate once again to learn from my Old master Yves once again. There are too much for me to do catching-up game since the towel hanged Glad that I did right..find my way here on time. Sincerely jomp

Actually I think the owners of the 203's

 By: torromoto : January 27th, 2010-15:10
are allready scratching their heads since the 339 also has the "rare" 8 GIORNI BREVETATTO on the dial...Think I'll just wait for the 8 GIORNI to hit the LUMINOR COMPOSITE case........guillermo

Actually PAM 267 was a continued production of the PAM 203

 By: PoyFR : January 27th, 2010-15:27
I do not think that PAM 339 has anything to do, or can be related to PAM 203.

Would you elaborate?

I personally would like a re-make of the baby egiziano

 By: Mr.Gatsby : January 28th, 2010-03:18
I understand the re-editions of e 26 and 28 due to e popularity of the PVD models, but never quite understood the 29. I personally would like to see re-editions of certain vintages, since their avalabilty are greatly reduced over time and the grey mkt now...

Thanks for sharing your opinion Mr. Gatsby

 By: AnthonyTsai : January 28th, 2010-09:12
Some day Panerai will make the baby Egiziano. It's just a matter of time IMO. Many die-hard fans would love this reedition, so it should come out in the future. I just hope it's not 40 years from now when I'm an old man and walking with a cane! Cheers, An...

I'm with you on the small Egiziano, Mr Gatsby.

As it is my absolute favourite Vintage Panerai. Class and a touch of Mystery. Wouldn't be happier if one day, this watch pops up. To me, Panerai is on the good way with the release of an Historical reedition. It is on the wrong way if the purpose is to re...

Great post Anthony

The more vintage appropriate the dial and hands... the better. But an aged appearing browned Cali dial with the correct Vintage Rolex movement with see through case back. A real replica except crystal not plexi or an option for either. Vintage appropriate...
