. . . I'd like to have for my collection, Abel. Found a nice one on the usual auction site earlier this year, but lost out to a more diligent collector. Afterwards, I was more than a little upset with myself; a marginally higher bid would've made the diff...

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments Art!...

... I regret you missed that auction, but I´m sure you´ll be able to add one of these jumbo sized old Omegas in your collection fairly soon. I guess that if people like Roberto keeps spreading his word about his "lucky watch" these references will get the...

These watches in the " under the radar " category are among my favs.

No buzz, no frills, nothing artificial, just pure aesthetical ( and mechanical ) pleasure. Superb. Un abrazo, Amigo Nicolas

Thank you for your comments dear Nicolas...

... completely agree with you, and glad you like this humble piece. Beyond that, an "under the radar" timepiece is very welcomed in our troubled streets!! Lol! Un abrazo! Abel.

Well, you know, even a JLC MMR Titanium can be considered as an under the radar

Watch... Once, at the Court, a cop came to see me, congratulating me for what my MMR... " Hey, that is a very nice Swatch you have here ".... ! ;) I smiled... Quite happy, to say all... Best, Nicolas

Lol!! Great story of this officers confusing your watch with a Swatch...

... but I can tell you that I wouldn´t dare to take a walk through Florida Street, Buenos Aires with a JLC Titanium on my wrist! For sure our "street snatchers" easily detect a Rolex -their most popular target- at a mile of distance, but I wouldn´t take a...

I love it when something like that happens!

That is too funny. I think I would feel a little embarrassed for the cop because he must think he knows his watches by uttering the Swatch name/brand. But he must be a watch enthusiast of some sort and as he gets into the "disease" of it, perhaps he will ...

Here is Omega 2505-21 w/ cal. 265 with original papers

This was really a FIND. How often do you find a watch from 1951 with the original papers?? I bought it from a fellow who told me that his father purchased the watch while in Europe in early 1950s. Here are some pics. Enjoy. ...

Sure know how to make an entrance, a! . . .

. . . acquiring a ref 2505 with all the accoutrements was quite a feat. Fascinating to see there were authorized Omega agents in South and North Vietnam back in '53, and that the agent for Syria and Lebanon was apparently the same person. One of my accoun...

Thanks, I know you gents are hard to impress though :)
