Question about the Ref 5170
Hi guys,
For me the 5170 is a grail of sorts.
The only problem is I have never worn or plan to wear yellow gold.
Do you think in time we will see a 5170, in white gold, or platinum ?

I was told in a Patek party
by people who should know: "they guess in next Baselworld". So that's my guess too. I don't have the slightest idea of the metal but I would guess white gold. Platinum would be even better and steel the best! Best, Kari
My sense is that
they will come out with a new metal at basel this coming year and that it will not be a pulsameter(which will only be in yellow gold.) but have a tach scale or plain scale. i suspect the yellow pulsamameters are retiring in the coming year.
