Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I went to the local Ad today and tried on all the sport watches.
I have small wrists. Liked the fit of the explorer ii most but thought the migauss gv dial and the submariner dial was a more interesting and appealing......torn between watches for my first buy.
Buying 2 will be emotionally appealing but sadly I won't e doing so.

This is easily my most comfortable and flexible watch for any occasion. I don't own an Explorer and it is also a fine choice to be sure but I do believe the GV is very special and a bit more unique. By the way if you are quite set on a new Daytona, they a...
Do you mean the new Explorer 2..?

In this case I would say the new Explorer 2 but when it's out it's going to be difficult to get so get your name down at your local AD now. Otherwise you may find your only choice is the Milgaus Yours, Andy.
for emotional appeal, get both..

for practicality, depends.. The Milgauss green monster is nice to look at and very colorful and a simple time telling machine and protects the watch from being magnetic but itself is magnetic enough when you go bar hopping waiting for some attractive ladi...
Were you thinking of the new explorer 2 or the old one?
By: TdotBean : July 25th, 2011-18:39
If it were the new one then I think you've better chance getting the daytona unless you are talking about the new ceramic bezel daytona, in that case you really need luck on your side. If is the old explorer 2, white or black dial? If you are looking at b...
you are bad, convincing him to buy two at one go ;) i never thought..

..of black and white complementing each other... to me a white dial Exp II if taken to Artic or Antartica, may not work cos it will blend in too well with all the snow and bright sunlight and would be difficult to read the time as opposed to a black dial....

No wait on Daytona

If you want one... don't believe the hype! I think it is a far more substantial and ultimately desirable watch than the others... they are out there for immediate delivery (in this economy.) Get the watch you really want, not the watch you can get 'conven...
Thank you all.

Tried the sub on as well. Torn between all but casting my vote for milgauss or sub now.
