PAM341 is an impressive hunk of metal

Thanks for the pictures of this stellar new Panerai.  What's the bezel indicator at 12 o' clock made of?  It looks like some sort of shiny pearlescent material. Thanks, Daos

I'll try to find out for you (nt)

The 12 o'clock marker on the bezel is super luminova covered with a sapphire cap

See below pic and look at the 12 o'clock...

Thanks, Anthony!

And thanks for the details! Also, about the strap, you said that it looks like a 6 or 7mm, what are you referring to? The width? Surely it isnt' 6mm wide right?! Or is it just the thickness? In that case, does it fit a 26/26 strap? Cheers! Stephen

Confirming 26mm strap width

Anths, could you find out too if the bezel rotates on this monster?

 By: BluNotte : January 20th, 2009-07:26
Does it rotate like it does on normal diving watches? If it does, is it bi-directional, or uni-directional? Cheers! Stephen

Bezel is bi-directional

Still can't get over from monday's shock honestly about the release of this beast! Hope you are still having fun at SIHH! Cheers Stephen

I don't know if I consider my days at SIHH "fun"

 By: AnthonyTsai : January 23rd, 2009-13:17
since most of it was entirely work and making sure I have pictures of everything I need from the brands represented at SIHH. Heck, even pulled an all nighter on Wed and didn't get any sleep. If I didn't have my brand dinners every single night of the show...

I'm SO in LOVE

must probably be the most unique Panerai in years and it will probably be the most unique in the years that will follow. Only 1 thing I ask myself ... Imagine you can get one .. do you wear such a thing ? I have a big wrist but still, 60 MM ?? or is this ...

For me, i intend to wear it!

 By: BluNotte : January 22nd, 2009-17:50
I'm asian and not of very big standards compared to caucasians, but it's precisely that it will be an overkill oversized watch that i'm going to wear it! None of my watches are ever "safe" watches, from the cheapest to the most expensive, as i'V read some...
