Here's a video of the PAM335

Here's a video of the Panerai PAM335  **TURN OFF SPEAKERS IF VIEWING AT WORK!!**.

The smoked glass isn't that "black" as you would think.  At certain angles, it hardly even looks smoked IMO.

Cheers,
Anthony

And here's a pic Ming took earlier

Hey, the new 335 looks great on Jane's wrist! I was digging the entire 42mm Radiomir collection and the 346 -- hubba, hubba! What a beauty! The Panerai folks were great hosts, and so generous in the way they let us play with the watches. Thanks very much ...

 By: ED209 : September 18th, 2010-11:38
Looks stunning. Of the three versions (steel, titanium and rold gold) my favorite was the PAM 336 Oro Rosa. I kept it on most of the time during dinner and couldn't get it off my wrist The 335 is definitely on the radar for her. Maybe we'll get matching p...

This watch is a beauty. Lots of my friend said that it's a girls watch. But I think this one will be a great dresswatch. It can easily slip under the cuff. Awesome watch!! Cheers, Sam

Ugh! Really loving this piece!!!

 By: dxboon : September 21st, 2010-01:42
Anthony, you are KILLING me! The entire 42mm Radiomir range is so nice! You should get one for Ping! Cheers, Daos

Thanks Ed! As always, the folks from Panerai were gracious hosts.

 By: CaliforniaJed : September 18th, 2010-06:59
This year's SIHH offerings from Panerai recaptured some excitement that seemed to be lacking a bit in recent years. In person last night, the watches really delivered on that excitement. The new titanium 8 day Radiomir and the rose gold 42mm Radiomir were...

It was great to see you and the Mrs. again

 By: ED209 : September 18th, 2010-11:40
Thanks Jed, it was great to see you both. I didn't have a chance to join last year's PuristSPro Panerai event, but this one was exciting. The Panerai Beverly Hills Boutique staff were truly generous hosts and put together a great event. Regards, ED-209

Part IA: Cocktail Reception

 By: AnthonyTsai : September 18th, 2010-10:40
This year's SIHH 2010 Panerai Beverly Hills event was smaller than last years. We had seats only for 22 PuristS, so this event was a nice personal intimate event. Wine and champagne were served along with hors d'oeuvres. I didn't have a chance to try most...

 By: ED209 : September 18th, 2010-11:31
It was great to see some familiar faces along with new ones. Although it was a smaller group than last year's PuristSPro Panerai event, it was still a nice sized froup that made it very personal and comfortable inside the boutique. Delicious hors d' oeuvr...

Part IIA: Panerai SIHH 2010 collection - Mare Nostrom PAM300 pics, video and plenty of lume

 By: ED209 : September 18th, 2010-13:18
The PAM300 Mare Nostrum is a special edition of 99 pieces made in brushed stainless steel. The 2 counter chronograph movement is based on the Panerai OP XXV caliber with a 55 hour power reserve. Included is a special green fabric and leather strap with a ...

Part IIB: Panerai SIHH 2010 collection - more pictures and videos!

 By: AnthonyTsai : September 18th, 2010-13:26
First off is the Panerai PAM339 47mm Radiomir Composite Marina Militare 8 Giorni, which I consider to be the "hottest" model of all the SIHH 2010 collection. The PAM339 is a very light watch since the case is aluminum. Panerai does some various processes ...

speaking of luminor

 By: aldossari_faisal : September 19th, 2010-00:48
version of the 339 i would love to see it in either basic luminor or luminor marina and thats it, no other functions are needed keep it simplea time telling watch . what do you think ? Thanks for the pics and vids. Faisal

WOW... that 339 and 300 looks awesome on the wrist!!

 By: i_am_Sam : September 19th, 2010-09:51
I wonder how does the 300 feels on the wrist? The chronograph movement is very beautiful... I really think it can be worn upside down... And Anthony, your 203 is the best!! Cheers, Sam

The PAM300 feels large on the wrist

 By: AnthonyTsai : September 19th, 2010-09:59
I definitely feel uncomfortable wearing it on the wrist, and it doesn't help that the lugs stick straight out. However, the PAM339 is very comfortable on the wrist and fits well on my 6.75" wrist. Cheers, Anthony

Thanks for the great report

 By: Jester : September 19th, 2010-20:27
It does look like OP has really hit a home run w/ the 339. Personally I'm thrilled to see a historically correct piece w/ an in-house movement. Moreover, also interesting to see the shortened lever on the PAM362. It's obvious that the folks at OP are payi...

I begin to sound like a broken record... :)

 By: amanico : September 18th, 2010-16:00
I LOVE this watch! A fantastic design, for sure. A pity that I can't wear it... I tried all during the last SIHH to convince me that I HAD to go for it, but I couldn't wear it. A 47 mm version, and I jump on it! Best, Nicolas

Grazie mille for these extremely good shots of the Mare!

 By: BluNotte : September 18th, 2010-19:11
I especially love the lume shots! Never seen them elsewhere before! Would you happen to know if an estimated delivery date has been set for this piece? Cheers Stephen

hope they will launch a more reasonable 40plus-ishmm size Mare Nostrum [nt]

 By: ED209 : September 18th, 2010-14:37
From the Panerai Contemporary collection, the Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT Ceramica was one the event favorites. Cased in a black ceramic material with a titanium transparent caseback displaying the P.2003 movement. The 3 spring barrels provide 10 days of pow...

It was great to see you again!

 By: patrick_y : September 19th, 2010-11:32
It's a bit of a cliche, but my favorite this year is the 339. The 47MM size, the 8 Giorni logo on the dial, the color scheme, and the nicely finished 2002 movement are my favorite attributes of this timepiece. For me, it shares some similar attributes to ...

PART IIIA: Dinner at Wolfgang's Steakhouse

 By: AnthonyTsai : September 18th, 2010-14:49
At around 7:30pm, we walked a couple blocks from the Boutique and headed over to Wolfgang's Steakhouse. Chad reserved a huge private room, and the service was spectacular. There were no assigned seats at this event, so everyone just settled down at a rand...

I have to second your sentiments, Anthony!

 By: dxboon : September 18th, 2010-16:06
I was at a table with Tanya, and Panerai should be very proud of their representatives from the Beverly Hills boutique. It's very clear that our hosts for the evening are passionate about the brand. It's nice to see that. Also, I felt they were very gener...
