The maiale was not necessary, as the dial begins to be too busy for my taste.

And the Eiffel tower engraved on the back will make a nice souvenir for Tourists. Not for me. Best, Nicolas

too busy as well... i believe

at least the should have removed the seconds function .. the torpedo looks seductive but not with all that jam on the dial already . Faisal

I agree

For once a Panerai that is not really to my tast. I do like the strap though. Best regards, George

I like the vintage look..but I guess it is a bit touristy.. but still a nice piece.

I was serious, for once...

An EffeilTower on the case back... I know some " cartes postales " which are less exepensive to bring back from Paris. To sum Paris to the Eiffel Tower is cheap, in my opinion. I feared it, Panerai did it. Best, Nicolas

How did you guess, Imran? :) [nt]

How can you call this a buysy dial ??? just a little black thing 4 mm² can't make the dial busy , Do you know the brand Breitling ? I really love that 414 maybe on of the best they made a simple NOT TOO BUSY dial. 3 hands , no date and the pig just gives ...

And you are not disturbed by nice postcard on the back?

 By: amanico : November 22nd, 2010-10:41
Which is a very nice and appropriate on a Florentine Replica of a Military Watch... Best, Nicolas.

lol

It would have been more balanced without the sub dial but

 By: MosesL : November 21st, 2010-23:37
I would settle for this too I love the PIG, and the strap, and I'm a sucker for the patina (notwithstanding that it's faux) Cheers Moses

the pig on this one is YAY but the subdial is nay. [nt]

 By: KC74 : November 22nd, 2010-05:45
...i always equate Panerais must have sandwich dials.. look more rooted to the origins of Panerai, just my 2 cents.. also this edition should not have engraved the Eiffel Tower looks funny..

Looks alright IMO. Thanks for posting! [nt]

I really like the way Panerai added Pig dial to the luminor case...

 By: i_am_Sam : November 24th, 2010-02:47
First of all... I never really liked the idea of boutique edition... And then the way Panerai using all the same model for different boutique editions.. I expected more from the "Laboratorio di Idee" If only this is a regular production piece, it would be...
