Panerai PAM 190 - Back to basics - Back to the future.
Mar 10, 2014,09:56 AM
My I present the Panerai PAM 190 classic sophistication from Panerai. Housing a wonderful Eight Days movement from I believe is from Jaeger LeCoultre. While yes there is the 8 Days on the dial they chose to hide the reserve indicator on the back of the watch to keep the dial Pure. And look at those lovely golden hands.
After follow the recent thread about reinventing models. Sergio4 had a pretty clear idea of the DNA of Panerai 3 6 9 12. It got me thinking I also feel the basics are really the beauty of what Panerai represents to meet.
Just personal taste. Less is more when comes to Panerai.
I hope Sergio4 will approve.

lamentable the "8 days" on the dial, but Richemont has put it there, so long ago, it has become part of the...maison (right of abode, so to speak). I'm not sure my "approval" should be worth a damn but....I like this model!!!! I also happen to own a 197 :...
It is borderline with the Billboard text 8 Days

But is passes the test as a whole presentation. Don't you love the feel when winding and the total lack of noise from the ticking. While it is pushing the envelope of the pure dial the Pam 190 has a place in the roster. Thanks for your thoughts I was a li...

LOVED my 190, which I sold for an offer I couldn't refuse at the time. Wish I hadn't. The 190 still holds a benchmark hard to beat.
Congrats
