Here's the new 44mm Panerai PAM590 Luminor 8 Days Acciaio with P.5000 movement
I think this new 44mm stainless steel PAM590 Luminor Marina is going to be a huge hit, assuming it's not priced too high. It features the P.5000 movement & the PAM203's "8 GIORNI BREVETTATO" at 3 o'clock.
The caseback is solid and will have an engraving of the human torpedo SLC aka the pig.
It will be available for the North America market.

now realy this 590 looks great without a doubt ..... but if i'd own a 203 i'd burst out in tears, it's like a 95% copy of it , something in which OP seems to be realy good the last years .......... come on !!! do they realy have to make such a ref. ??? no...

For many (myself included), 44mm is much more wearable than 47. Not sure about a solid caseback on this one, though. I would have preferred a display back on a 44mm Luminor. Best, CaliforniaJed

First, agree with Jed that it should've been a display caseback since it's an 8 days movement and you know......it is something more than an ETA to look out. Next, if these watches are referenced against the vintages (patina'd indices, 8 days logo etc) th...

The only redeaming quality of this piece, in my opinion of course, is the absence of further cluttering features on the dial, such as Black Seal...Power Reserve...date with cyclop etc hahaha Cheers

This model it's not a Limited Edition. The only limitation is that, for the first year of production, it will only be distributed in the USA. How many? As many as Panerai will be able to...sell (which is a lot of pieces, I'm sure, in their expectations) :...
