2014 Panerai Novelty: PAM 569 Submersible Lefthanded Titanium 47 mm.

Jul 03, 2014,13:14 PM

This Watch didn't feature in the 2014 LE part when I first saw it.

Everybody knows the Submersible. A Watch which was born with the Pam 24, in 44 mm.

Then we had a Destro version, for the parisian retailer Chronopassion, in a 44 mm case... Till the Pam 305, and more recently, the Pam 389, but in a normal configuration, with the crown and its protector at 3 o' clock, in 47 mm.

The Pam 305:

The Pam 389:

This year, we have the Destro version

The use of titanium is not recent, as the Pam 25, Born with the A Millesime, in 1998, used it ( the Pam 25 being the same than the Pam 24, but in titanium and with a hobnail dial )...

The hobnail dial is the second particularity of the Pam 569. The third, and last, specificity being the faux patina on the indexes, hands, and the small dot on the insert, at 12.

It will be a limited edition of 1000 pièces.

Nicolas.

I personally love it , if there is no date , will be a much better. Anyway its much nicer than the 'KRAKEN" Regards John

It is not a surprise that I would have preferred it without date.

Except the Egiziano, I don't see any other Submersible without date...

The faux luminova patina actually looks very nice with the titanium case which looks like it itself has already developed an aged patina look. Very nice looking combo. Cheers, Anthony

I was presented with this watch last week in HK and I declined simply because I have the Chronopassion Destro 2500m Pam 358. This watch is not as sporty as the 358, can be worn as a daily watch, nice but not my cup of tea.

Thanks for your feedback, my friend. You should post some pics of the 358!

Thanks for your feedback, my friend. Do you have the same issue with the PAM 587
