SIHH 2015: Panerai Live Photos of PAM614, PAM616, PAM603
Live photos from SIHH 2015. Panerai this year is focusing on the Submersible Collection, part of the Luminor Collection. The Submersible Collection is Panerai's extreme sports line of watches, which compliments its already sporty line of existing watches. Perhaps the most anticipated watch is the Panerai Submersible Carbotech, a watch that has a case made of a carbon material. This carbon watch is certainly generating a large amount of buzz, as it is a first for Panerai. It's important to note however, that while the carbon material is a first for Panerai, it's not a first for the industry, as a small amount of other companies also offer watches with carbon-derived cases. Please read and see the photos below to get a feel for the new Panerai Collection at SIHH 2015, and to get special PuristSPro insight on the latest collection.

Clean, classic, sober. The design of the original 1950s Panerai Luminor. I would love to own a piece like this!
The famous California dial.
Pushers to the chronograph are screw down buttons. That usually means you can't use the buttons when underwater.
This is the titanium version, it's a handsome watch. It also has a date and a 60 minute chronograph - the minute hand is under the second hand.
This watch has a great warm look. It reminds me of the PAM 300 from 2010, of which only 99 were made!
Clean, classic, and sober case back.
Notice the PIG Submarine on the rear.
Interesting Tid-bit: The Carbotech is sometimes referred as the Turbotech as a nickname at SIHH.
The side of the case has ridges even on the gnurled edge of the bezel adjuster.

Nope, that's it.
On behalf of our readers at PuristSPro, I did have a private meeting with Panerai to discuss the special new pieces and to gather information for our users. And those are all the watches that were shown to me.

Personally, the Carbon from Audemars Piguet is more what I'm accustomed to seeing. But of course, Panerai has to do something that hasn't been done widespread in the industry, so this pattern is nice. DRMW would like it, as it resembles those Damascus Ste...

I used to think that a Panerai should be 47MM always. And now I realize that the 44 mm looks much better on my wrist, so now I just wear a 44mm. Wait a year or two and the Carbotech will soon be in 44mm guise. In the meanwhile, we're just going to have to...

Good idea to have made it in Titanium, as the Watch is huge ( 52 mm ) and can be heavy, then. I also like the idea to know what I have Inside my Watch, hidden Under a solid case back. Now, at 52 mm, I don't have the wrist for it, sadly. Too bad! Nicolas
