SIHH 2015: Panerai PAM615 Submersible Chrono Flyback w/ Ceramic Bezel - live pictures

Jan 22, 2015,07:55 AM

Patrick sent me live pictures of the new 47mm Panerai PAM615 Luminor 1950 Submersible with black ceramic bezel.

I especially wanted to highlight this Panerai because personally, I think this PAM615 is one of Panerai's best looking Submersible chronographs to date so far.  I would love to see a smaller 44mm version of this watch in stainless steel someday in the future.  If this model came to existence, I feel it would give the Rolex Deep Sea a run for its money.

How many of you guys like this PAM615 as much as I do?

Cheers,
Anthony

I do agree

this is a handsome watch. At last OP is moving the pushers away from the crown guard which I thought is a great idea. I've never been a big fan of round pushers protruding from the sides of the crown guard.

Things I really like about the 615...

The 615 is overall a well executed piece. And you mentioned the Rolex Deep Sea, which is a good comparison regardless of the size difference. The main reason why I like Panerais generally more than the Deep Sea is that the Deep Sea has a really small brac...

Great analysis of the PAM615 Patrick

They are big watches. But at the end of the day, they're supposed to be. They should include gym memberships or steroids (joke) at your local Panerai dealer. Thanks for writing Phil!
