Plexi is likely used for the historical tie-in...
...to the vintage models. The Panerais from WWII didn't have sapphire crystals, so these plexy-topped Pams will be a nice nod to the original models (just my guess). A domed plexi is soooo nice IMO. I love the look. Cheers, Daos
I love the plexiglas or hesalite for the vintage look..
...but these watches really have a lot of reflections on the dial... Actually plexiglas is very good when it comes to bumps, but not so much on scratches... but hey, than you use a little of polywatch or Autosol Best Hans...
