Here are the pics I took of all the Pre V Mare I was lucky to own...
The Slytech ref 5218-304: ( smooth bezel).31 pieces + 19 given / sold to Cariter Vendome
Sly Mare Nostrum 5218-302, the same than the 304, but with the Graduate Bezel of the 5218-301/A. 32 pieces + 18 given / sold to Cartier Vendome
And Pam 6, 7 and 8: Mare Nostrum Vendome, 400 pieces, for these 3 references: 6=Blue dial, 7=White Dial, and 8=Black Dial:
My favourite?
5218-304 ( pre v smooth bezel), then the 301/A, then the Pam 7 with its white dial...I don't like the 302, as it's too close to the 301/A, and you'll pay a lot for one more line on the dial...
The 304 is the closer to the Proto from 1943, and the white dial is simply stunning.
The 301/A is the one which we come back to the legend, as it was produced at the same time than the Logo pre v...

The dial look very balance and the patinal look real nice. Is it possible to show more Mare series? I wish to see some clear bezel and the "slytech" also. Thanks and Cheers.

Great pics there Nicolas, but it's the least we expect now from you..!!! It doesn't seem to look like a Panerai which must give it that marmite feel with Panerai collectors....what size is it..?? Are the bezels interchangable as I've seen 3 pics recently ...

Welcome to the forum! The 301/A is also my favorite Mare. My first thought that came up into my mind was exactly the same as yours....where's the crown guard? is this the real Panerai? But I finally found out that this is the REAL stuff and can't miss to ...
