All is in the title " From Alexandria to Holywood ".
A nice reading about Panerai History...And roots.
What is clear is that 300 to 500 Vintage watches were made, and that, among them, a lot were destroyed by the Marina Militare Authorities themselves.
I think you know were these destroyed watches are, POY...Sunk in the sea, not far from La Spezia.
Anyone interested to have a good dive?
What I didn't know, ( but we really learn every day, isn't it? ) is that Mr Riffaut the Commando Hubert Commander, was interested by these Panerai Watches, and even recommending them, before opting for a certain Blancpain watch called ...Fifty Fathoms!
As for Stefan Ciejka, if some here want to complain, please ask him, he's here!
Anyone?
Best,
Nicolas

You will also need some equipments to either lift that block, or to burst into it! nah it ain't a simple task nor about a vacation dive! I think this block of concrete will not be one day titled, 'the resurfacing legendary watches' ;-)
