Just a response to my own question (for anybody that cares). My friend took both his vintage Omega and Corteberg to a 3rd party repair center to have a look-see. The Omega was royally messed up (due to my friend magnetizing it on his iPad, then purchasing... 

That is, other than the Rolex movementes (deriving from Cortebert, I believe) that were used in Panerai Vintage watches (pre 1993) :-) Ciao

I know absolutely nothing about them. The...only...thing I know (as I've mentioned) is that the first Panerais that were produced EVER, had a Rolex movement (of Cortebert derivation) inside. I know for a fact, though, that there has..never..been any assoc...
