Didn't you forget to disclose you just bought one of these model?

Dear Mr. Salman.

Thank you for your time to write this LONG article, you sure spent a lot of time writing it, but LONG doesn't neccessary equal ACCURATE.

I have no idea about vintage, and I wouldn't even claimed myself as "newbie" because I didn't even take my time to do a research on this topic.

However I have the following questions about your article:

Questions:

1. From a statistical stand point, how many data (how many watches) you have collected before you draw your conclusion of which are
"consistence" and ""inconsistence" movement? Base on your article, it seems like you ONLY saw these "pictures" and there are just less than 10 of each refs#, then you drew your conclusion. And I don't even know if you actually saw and touched any of these vintages, or just by "looking" at the picture? I have no idea how many of these refs supposed to have been produced or still around. But I would imagine in few hundreds of each model, so say if there are 300pcs #3646 around, then you ONLY collected the data (pictures) of less than 10pc, this is a very inaccurate comparison from a mathematical and statistical stand point.

2. You claimed that these pictures you used are available from public forum and not watermarked. However, based on information I collected from this site and other sites (which your post was already been deleted and you are banned), at less 2 of the watch pictures belonged to someone and they have never gave you permission to use these pictures. They even wrote to you to ask you remove their watch pictures, but you ignored their requests. You knew about these pictures's owner refused to have you using their pictures, but you ignored their request and still posted these pictures. You disclaimer is incorrect and seem to be a lie.

3. Didn't you just purchase one of these vintage watch recently? Don't you think it is VERY important to disclose that fact. It is like a stock analyst will have to disclose if he holds the stock that he analyzed, don’t you think there is a conflict of interest or potential of shilling?

4. I remember you admitted you are a newbie in vinatge Panerai, so I  question what kind of background, what kind of credential, what kind of knowledge you have to try to draw a fine line between what is right and what is wrong of vintage Panerai. I know you didn't actually use the words "right" and "Wrong" but by calling it "consistence" and "inconsistence" is really no different. There are few well known experts in vintage Panerai and they can't even say 100% sure if some watch is not consistence since these watches were repaired and parts were replaced during war and afterward.

Disclaimer: I am no expert in vintage, just can't stand someone trying to promote his watch by trashing others. This is only my opinion, if you don't agree or don't like it, please move on, bluh buh bluh

in relation to some of the statements you've made Salman; "The critical component of a Vintage Panerai is the movement" I respectfully Disagree, the movement is only one component of a watch and for most vintage collectors, the history of the piece is mor...
