M.HORN and Panerai is a long story which began in 2001 or 2002, when M.HORN used for one of his expeditions a Pam 92.
This watch a nice watch worn by a nice guy ( I had the chance to meet him in Paris ), with a strange story.
The Pam 92 he wore burnt during the expedition!
Another detail, the Pam 92 for M.HORN came first with a bezel like the compass, and after with the bezel we all know, and a tritium dial.
The LE was delayed , and finally launched in 2004 instead of 2002, with a L dial.
And presented by Panerai like the watch worn by M.HORN...
Some months later, came a GMT Arktos, Pam 186 if I'm correct, and presented like the real watch worn by M.Horn...
And a year later, a new Arktos came, the " North Pole ", which is basically a Pam 186, but with a blue dial, for another M.Horn expedition.
Now, this year, we have the last M.Hron panerai watch, for his new expedition.
Finally, this watch is a range in itself.
Thanks for this report, SJX!
Best.
