... that I´m rather biased towards smaller watches. I´ve been wearing a Rolex Submariner for almost 50 years as my only watch till I discovered watch collecting just 5 or 6 years ago, and then I have concentrated in vintages of 36 to 40 mm mostly.

I have to open my mind for bigger watches, and truth is the only brand with big watches I have felt comfortable with, is Panerai.

Actually, this new for me 87H is my third one, because at beginning this year I had bought a Pam 424, which being a Radiomir wears a bit smaller than its true 47 mm.

I´m now focusing my sights in a 372 and a new MM model in a near future, but will try them on my wrist first to view how it looks before taking the plunge.

I have rather thin wrists (17 cm)  and in general I don´t like the look of a watch protuding at both sides of them and this is what observe in some users of Panerai and other big case brands, and this is something I find rather akwards and not very nice looking to my personal "gusto".

... is to share a recent catch. Panerai has something very special for me... I dont like big watches nor the present trend to big size cases. I am happy with my vintage (and some modern) Rolex and Omega timepieces, mostly in the 36 to 40 mm size. Panerai...

Had the Pam 64 aka La Bomba for some years. Loved this bad boy. In Blue, it is a bit less bad boy, but still powerful and enchanting. Well done, my friend. I didn't expect you here! Un abrazo, Nicolas

Thank you Nicolas! I was sure I was going to surprise you...

Maybe you and me will play this card, in a near future? Un abrazo, amigo. Nicolas

It's all about breaking that perception in your head and putting some duck tape over the little voice in your head who will chat nonstop "I can't wear anything over 40mm". Once you go big, you don't go back! :) Congrats on your 2nd Panerai, and hopefully ...
