What's your thought on a new Pam 424
By: Watches4ever : June 16th, 2014-08:34
I read an article that too many people dislike the Pam 424 with a date window and now Panerai may release a new Pam 424 without date, what do you think guys? I am contemplating of selling the 424 and wait for this new variant, in SS will be a lot cheaper ...

If Cali then 249 of course 3646 would be nice ;) :) Somehow date is sacrilege on any PAM IMO as well as Logo with Cali dial Logo and date = blasphemy :) Best Damjan
Without the date it's a lot better but...

I, much as Nicolas, believe the logo has no place on a Cali dial. If I were a part of Richemont design team, though, I'm not sure I wouldn't have...tried..too :-)
I think both are fine IMO

But then again, Cali dials really don't float my boat. I'd rather get a stick baton dialed Panerai instead :) Cheers, Anthony
The watch is the "brand"

No need for bold self-serving mfr. advertisement - logo - on my wrist. Date not relevant to me, best an option for those others that prefer. Personally, as I wear multiple watches and am not always perfectly disciplined as to winding, I reference the date...
I agree with most opinion here...

It's much better without the date But the logo still seems misplaced in the Cali dial Best, Sam
