Panerai 2009 Launch - Shanghai, 20 May (warning: modem burner)
I was fortunate enough to be invited by Panerai to the opening last week of their exhibition in the Atrium of Shanghai's premium Plaza 66 shopping complex.
Upon crossing the threshold, one was greeted by a comprehensive wall-mounted display of Officine Panerai's glorious history.
A watchmaker was on hand, working as the guests browsed.
Panerai's HK-based Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific region, M. Jean-Sebastien Gerondeau, was there to meet and greet the guests, and explain the brand's new releases for 2009.
