a good friend, Konrad, suggested the following scenario - Cortebert was taken over by Omega in the 70's, Omega is Swatch and so is ETA/Unitas..... Not sure if the timeline fits in, but a nice theory that Unitas 6498 and derivatives, is a reworked Rolex/Co...
