Something dawn on me last week when I had

coffee with a customer and a 'risti' who was wearing an amazing 441.

He was very proud and happy to have acquired it from a boutique by chance and overjoyed when he didn't have to pay premium to the flippers. I was admiring the heft of this beautiful piece when he uttered "I'd never pay for one running an ETA", obviously he was very proud having a great pam running the in-house movement, I'm happy for him, really. I particularly like his idea of a scratch-resistant ceramic case, great looking and durable.

I didn't have a chance to take a picture, I can only share my ETA at best.

HAGWE

in-house movement is pretty impressive with a 3 day reserve. I think Panerai is doing the right thingin that direction. Who wants a ETA movement nowadays? Unfortunately, I also have ETA on my speedy 321 and my Rolex GMT :) Mech.

Mech. That is one ETA so many people would long to have.

it didn't have a smoked display back but rather a PVD'ed movement instead. Cheers, Anthony

That is a Panerai...
