By: BluNotte : October 22nd, 2010-22:48
Ciao my fellow dearest Paneristis! I trust and hope that each one of you is having a great start to the weekend, or simply enjoying it! Well, i am a VERY happy man today because i went through this.... Right in front of my second "home" in Japan.... Hmm, ...
Well, I don't get it, Stephen.
By: amanico : October 22nd, 2010-22:56
Panerai changed the dial, but didn't change the dial? Now, that is interesting, and can't wait to have an official explanation from Panerai ( even if I know that we won't have this " Onore " ). Anyway, you're the King, my friend, you got the watch you wan...
As always, my ultra bullet train mon ami!
By: BluNotte : October 22nd, 2010-23:12
I too do not have the official explanation, but I have a feeling that some folks might end up being a little disappointed later on. Indeed mon ami, i'm soooooooooo happy because i'v been getting all the watches that I want, and 2 of the hottest ones in a ...
+1, hermano!
By: E.J. : October 23rd, 2010-00:32
But I think that Panerai doesn´t need this kind of scandals. I´m sure that we will have some few pieces with MM in the dial and more with "normal" dial. Flipper times, hermano! Best
I hope it to, Stephen...
By: E.J. : October 23rd, 2010-07:22
But, happy because no a fleeper, certanlly a true passionate guy as you, got it. Enjoy this marvel in the best of health, my friend. emilio

By: grigo : October 22nd, 2010-23:01
Very, very nice watch? I'm sure that in real life it looks even better than in the pictures. Can't wait to get mine. The delivery of your watch seems to put an end to the long winded debate about the inscription that the dial of the 339 would indicate. I ...
Merci George!
By: BluNotte : October 22nd, 2010-23:18
The watch is a silk baby in reality! I sure that you will love it as much as I will love mine! I actually quite dislike the colour brown, but this 339 is soooo sexy that im not really "seeing" it as a brown! If you are early on your side of the list, you ...
Twist
By: grigo : October 23rd, 2010-00:34
The twist would be that they actually produce more 339's with the "MM" inscription on the dial and less with " Radomir". Consequently, the Radomir version would become the rarer version. I wouldn't put it behind them. Guess we will have to wait and see. B...
Wait and see
By: grigo : October 23rd, 2010-10:49
Guess that we will just have to wait and see. Personnally, I would prefer to get one with the "MM" indication on the dial. Maybe you should start a PAM 339 Roll -Call, kind of like what they did for the JLC TT Polaris, that way we would be able to follow ...
That's a great idea!
By: BluNotte : October 23rd, 2010-19:53
Although i am not sure if all are inclined to share with us what their catch will be! But let's just see though, for now definitely with all the rage about this and the fact that the 339 WITH the MM is the original as intended ( when launced at SIHH 2010)...
To many???
By: grigo : October 23rd, 2010-23:51
Stephan, Is there such a thing as having to many Radomir's??? Are you feeling all right? I was getting a little worried there for a moment and then realized that you "must" be joking. Best regards, George
Thanks for the concern!
By: BluNotte : October 24th, 2010-07:03
Indeed, there can never be "too many" Radiomir! Pardon moi! Stephen
Congrats Stephan!

what a year it has been for you my friend.. new and coveted watches along with a beautiful fiance.. Huge congrats... I love the 339 but I don't know how much more controversy the OP can make for itself... another situation similar to 292PIG...wow...but I ...

By: d-star : October 23rd, 2010-20:08
Congrats BluNotte. It's great to see the 339 starting to trickle out. Which will you wear more: 341 or this one?
It seems to be the case...
By: BluNotte : October 23rd, 2010-20:25
Hey, thanks there! They will both see just about the same wrist time, as I have to balance through all my watches! Cheers and Have a wonderful weekend! Stephen

Great to see that you got the MM dial on the 339. Hope that Panerai will be making them all with the Marina Militare. Thanks for posting the pics. Wear it in good health.
Congrats... very well done...
By: ticktocktimesup : October 25th, 2010-09:36
... but if it comes out in two versions, then I just have to find myself another €10k to buy the second dial version as well
Thank you TickTock!
By: BluNotte : October 25th, 2010-09:53
It is indeed a marvelous piece in whatever form that it shall be released in! But the race is on to even own one! Cheers and all the best! Stephen
I am not worried...
By: ticktocktimesup : October 25th, 2010-10:06
... about getting one, just curious which one it will be. Honestly, I could live with either, but if I can choose, well the MM version for sure. Yours is regular production, correct, and not a ghost version?
For your information.......
By: BluNotte : October 25th, 2010-10:13
Mine is indeed the official production from Officine Panerai and tremendously blessed to know that this piece right here is the very 1st delivery in the world! Glad to know that you will be getting one, or maybe even two! Cheers Stephen
Congratulations !
By: domingo chavez : October 26th, 2010-05:24
The watch looks really good. I hope I'll get one the MM dials. Just a question about the winding : how do you when the movement is fully wound ? Does it stop ?
Merci beaucoup!
By: BluNotte : October 26th, 2010-06:02
Thanks for the compliments, and i hope you get yours soon too! With regards to the winding, indeed the OP 2002/7 calibre does not have a lock function even when fully wound, it "slips" instead. And depending on the piece that you have you will hear a chan...
Thanks for this very precise answer.
By: domingo chavez : October 26th, 2010-06:43
160 turns ! That's far more than with my PAM190. So the P2002/7 doesn't have a "stop". I think I'm gonna wind my 339 in a quiet room then.
You're more than welcome!
By: BluNotte : October 26th, 2010-08:22
Glad to be able to answer your question. Well do be cautious though as i have mentioned, not all of the movements make the change in noise, so you may receive a movement that has no change at all in winding noise, and if that is the case, just take betwee...
Terima Kashi my friend!
By: BluNotte : October 26th, 2010-09:36
Indeed, it is a beauty that is beyond words! It seems to be the case that I am indeed the very 1st delivery in the world! Grazie mille! Stephen
Oh my goodness! Lots of goodness!
By: patrick_y : October 26th, 2010-23:17
Congratulations on this important Panerai acquisition! Truly a great Panerai that is worth celebrating! First of all, I'm glad to see that it does say "Marina Militare" on the dial instead of the other concoctions that were speculated upon. Grat looking p...
Couldn't agree more on the goodness that accompanies this acquisition!
By: BluNotte : October 27th, 2010-06:14
Well my bro, I know that you have this watch in your sights too, and I do hope sincerely that you will be given the opportunity to acquire it soon too! Your explanation on the process is a uniquely new aspect that I have heard. The one I know is about the...
