"I love the smell of leather in the morning" just a funny reference as to my love of straps. The Rolex just speaks IMO that I made it.

It is all about the passion. It is personal and powerful. As a big fan of Panerai and Rolex it is great to be among others afflicted with the same passion. Thanks for taking the time out to share with us your passion. Thnaks Ping for choosing a great cand...

Thank you William for sharing your experience (and thanks to Ping for the input). It's crucial to remember that behind the passions there is a subject (watches in our case) and, behind this, men with their stories... You made me go back in mind my beloved...

The funny thing I noticed in your interview is how mad you are about straps. Which is a detail I found with most of Paneristis. It seems that Panerai has done a lot for the strap culture. As for your grails, I noticed with interest that you have some soft... 

Yes I would love to add a Pre V 1 day. Straps are a main stay in any Paneristi IMO,&Yes we keep the strapist's in business for sure , I think I keep Peter Gunny busy all year round w/ just my orders :-) Thanks for your comments & taking the time t...

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed my story & pics. I'm a little rough around the edges arms, people have commented in the past on how different it is to see a Panerai on a tattooed arm like mine,but I think it gives the watch character.:-) I've changed... 

... in this post I enjoyed so much. I have read it with great interest. I had always felt great curiosity and paid due attention to every reportage to a fellow colector, learning about his own feelings and approach to his personal collection and the story... 

I'm glad your interested in others views,experiences (as I know your passionate as well) into the WIS disease that we all have contracted.I enjoyed writing my thoughts down on how I started this unusual collecting.I love sharing & hearing others Passi...
