The difference is Patek & Rolex actually sell quick at Costco. The costco I been to have the same Panerai for months. Check the serial number come back 3 months later check again will be the same ones. The prices are still high compared to market prices for the same models.

Will not make sense if they sell the ceramic case replacement at a discount compared to steel.

Unless there is a merger of the two companies. It will be more likely Rolex will release a radomir style case before Panerai puts a Rolex movement in their watches again And remember the 21s were tough to sell and sold below retail.

Because Panerai can always reissue the 399, could never be a reissue of the 21.

Maybe the case shape of a Panerai makes them easy to crack compared to other brands that make ceramic watches
