Horological Meandering: Thanks :) I don't know how rare the originals are, but you are right that they don't often come up for sale.

Here's a slightly sharper picture of mine. As you can see I don't have Jocke's talent for photography!

Horological Meandering: Nice

Great looking and, apart from the size, pretty faithful to the original.

Blancpain: Stunning

Absolutely lovely - I think mine is the classiest, and possibly the easiest wearing, watch in my collection. I love the angled hands (they aren't flat) and also the big date. Other makes might handle the date differently, but Blancpain's, in combination with the subtly detailed dial is sublime IMHO.

Omega: 1:00

Thanks. In my experience, quite a lot can be going on at 1:00 (as opposed to 13:00) ;)

Omega: I'll join in too

My 2998-61. Shame about the small bit of missing lume.

Jaeger-LeCoultre: Visual check

Sorry to hear of your experience. This sounded all too familiar to one I had with Richemont (IWC) a couple of years ago, in particular the reference to the visual check. I had an Aquatimer refurbished and in the process the bezel was changed for a used one that was in worse condition than the origin
