Panerai radiomir cal 999
I am in the process of deciding to purchase my first panerai and have decided that as being a manual wind lover then the cal 999 in the 42mm x12mm pam 337 or pam 338 would be an ideal choice either steel or titanium
However I was baffled to find out that these two model do not have the swan neck regulator fitted, only being fitted to the pam 378 & pam 439 these being the pink and red gold models.
The pam 337/8 have 144 components and pam 378/439 have 154 components and am assuming that the extra 10 components go to make up the swan neck regulator.
All the photo,s on the web site only show the swan neck version and no mention of what regulation is used on the other steel - titanium models.
I would be interested to know the owners views with and without the swan neck regulator and any additional information about these val fleurier(buttes) manufactured and designed models
