Thanks for teaching us the history of the Mare Nostrum. They definitely have been sleepers considering pricing of all the other Panerai's pre-V's have shot through the roof. Your article should definitely help educate the Panerai community and draw more attention to these Mare Nostrum's. I personally never was fond of the Mare Nostrum look but many other people do. If and when Panerai does re-introduce the Mare Nostrum, these pieces should attract a lot more interest IMO.

Thanks once again for the great write-up, and the PuristS community is fortunate to have a Panerai history buff such as yourself who shares and teaches us its past history.
