Almost pulled the trigger on the PAM 024 but then heard through a friend that they will be changing out this model and going to produce their own in-house movements for the 024 among other watches. Anyone else heard this? I didn't want to buy a 2014 PAM 024 only have it change dramatically in 2015 -

I have a PAM 014M (2010) in near mint condition as it was just polished by Panerai and I am going to trade it in for a PAM 024. I have every everything including 3 extra straps and the boxes and papers. They are willing to give me $4200 for it...is this a good deal?

I know this site is not for selling Panerai, but that being said, can anyone recommend a forum where sales are acceptable? I have a 3 year old watch that I am looking to get rid of and want to deal with some place other than Ebay.

Thanks everyone for your valuable input. I love the classic black/black it will never go out of style and I love the ceramic bezel which looks silver sometimes when the light bounces off of the watch.

Thanks so much for everyone's input. I am the proud owner of a new GMT Master 2 Black/Black. I love the ceramic bezel, almost looks silver instead of black in certain lighting. A classic look that may seem boring to some, but elegant to me! I will be selling my PAM 104 to get the PAM 24 next!

I am in the market for the GMT Master II and am trying to decide between the traditional black vs black and blue dials. Well after much thought I think I am leaning towards getting the GMT Explorer and selling the 104 to get the 24 at a later date. The PAM 24 comes in only one color, but the GMT actually comes in Black as well as a brand new black and blue color. That's my next decision

I recently sold my 2003 Rolex Submariner and am trying to decide between the PAM 024 and the Rolex GMT Master 2. I already have a PAM 104. I need help deciding. Any input would be appreciated. Two questions: 1) Which holds its value better? 2) Which would you choose and why?
